Terms and Conditions

All driving lessons and courses are operated by Safety Driving Centre  (Sel) Sdn. Bhd. (SDC), whose registered office is  Lot 3A, Jalan Utara, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Malaysia. SDC’s operation is subject to, war, terrorist activity, natural disaster, civil strife, adverse weather or road conditions, fire, bureaucratic obstacles, and Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ) regulations.

 

SDC reserves the right to decline any booking / enrolment / at their discretion. The Candidate(s) / student(s) / Driver Learner(s) / Driving candidate(s) are required to sign a copy of the terms and conditions form after reading it. The terms and conditions and all matters arising from it are subject to Malaysian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian Courts. In the event that any of the provisions of this terms and conditions shall be determined by any Court to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent then such provision shall to that extent be severed from the remaining provisions of the terms and conditions, which shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

 

  1. Safety

SDC will take all reasonable precautions to ensure candidate / student safety whilst candidate / student are learning with us; however candidate / student should also take reasonable steps and  do candidate / student best to prevent injury or accident to candidate / studentself or others. Follow the instructions of candidate / student Instructor if candidate / student are unsure about anything. If any accident / incidents were to occur due to candidate / student negligence or not of our fault, he or she will be personally be liable for damages. The student understands and agrees that he / she is responsible for damages, including collisions that occur in our premises and during drive tests while the candidate is in complete control of the vehicle WITHOUT a BEHIND THE WHEEL DRIVING SCHOOL instructor. The student further understands and agrees that he / she are responsible for any damages or loss  caused by the candidate to the SDC’s facilities / properties / vehicles. The candidate understands and agrees that the SDC is not responsible for candidate’s personal belongings that are left or missing in SDC’S  facilities, premises or vehicles.

 

 

  1. Conduct of instructor or trainer

SDC will provide  trainer / instructor who is professionally trained and who is bound by a professional code of conduct. This will ensure that all SDC trainers will act professionally , polite , tidy and will not smoke in the car while giving driving training. The instructor or trainer are required to behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times. SDC Trainer  is required to use SDC’s and JPJ’s standard operation procedure(s) while giving driving training / course / test.

 

Qualifications

SDC is fully endorsed by The Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ).JPJ is the agency that examines licences and controls the standards of all driving trainer / instructor in the Malaysia. Our SDC Driving Trainer / instructor is registered with JPJ  and is approved by them to display the Sijil Pengajar Institut Memandu (SPIM) badge on his/her car.

 

 

Insurance

We covered by insurance policy applicable to students/ candidates, however this policy is subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the insurance provider which may differ from time to time. If the students are candidates required more information, we will provide the details as required.

 

Vehicle

Our Driving Instructor gives candidate / student training using SDC’s car, which is properly insured for this purpose and for use in driving tests or training only which is approved by JPJ / PUSPAKOM.

PSV

Public Service Vehicle (PSV) is a vocational driving licence that allows the holder to drive any type of commercial vehicle used for paying passengers such as Taxis, Window Van and Buses. Starting July 12th, 2019 ride-hailing drivers (eg Grab, Uber) must apply for (PSV – Taxi/E-hailing) licence.

GDL

Goods Driving Licence (GDL) a special driving licence to drive any type of commercial vehicle used for transporting goods such as Lorries, Panel Vans and other vehicles that are registered as a commercial vehicle to transport goods

Documents required

  1. Registration
  • During registration, candidate / student are required to bring along candidate / student original Malaysian identity card (Mykad) if candidate / student are Malaysian or permanent resident of Malaysia and Passport if candidate / student are Non-Malaysian.
  • Foreigners must in posses of valid Visa from Malaysian Immigration Department with minimum 6 months validity ( social pass is not qualify as a valid documents for driving)
  • Candidate / student photo with white background : 2 pieces (non-Returnable)
  • Existing Driving license or Vocational driving license (if poses)
    • We unable to register candidate / student if candidate / student are blacklisted to continue driving learning process as in JPJ and Police records. As such it is candidate / student responsible to tell us before registration.

 

 

 

 

 

Training and Test

  • Candidate / student are required to bring along candidate / student original Malaysian identity card (Mykad) if candidate / student are Malaysian or permanent resident of Malaysia and Passport if candidate / student are Non-Malaysian.
  • Foreigners must in posses of valid Visa from Malaysian Immigration Department with minimum 6 months validity ( social pass is not qualify as a valid documents for driving)
  • Candidate / student photo with white background : 2 pieces (non-Returnable)
  • Existing Driving license or Vocational driving license (if poses)
  • candidate / student are also required to bring along candidate / student original and valid L License.( during practical training and practical test).

Driving Course / Practical Training / Practical test / Theory test / Practical Test length and expiration (Learning Length)


The candidate/students has the flexibility to follow its driving learning process at the time he/she finds most convenient. SDC offer a variety of schedules to accommodate student/ candidate time availability on weekdays/weekends which vary depending on the stage of the course. However, JPJ test and other test are subject to a fixed time and determine by such authority. It is the responsibility of the candidates to make him / her available for such test and to obtain the relevant score which will allow the candidate / students to continue with the process. Although there is not minimal time enforced, the candidate/ students can go at their own pace and all the stages must be completed in less than a year (12 months) from the moment they are enrolled. A learning length that extends over 12 months without module completion will be rendered invalid. The candidates /students will have to re-apply and re-take some or all course stages where applicable. If there is a refund request by the candidate / students, such refund will be subject to registration fees, processing fees, JPJ fees and all service(s) /training(s) /product(s)/ test(s). The candidate / student shall manifest in timely manner such refund request. For example: a claim made past 6 months from the enrolled date shall not be processed as the Course the candidates /students signed for, has expired. It is the responsibility of the candidates / students  to complete all the stages and approve the necessary test to obtain their driving License at adequate times; a prorated calculation will apply taking into consideration those variables.

 

 

Fees

  1. Payment terms
    • SDC reserves the right to add, change, alter or dismiss at any time without prior notice any steps / modules in order to obtain a Driving License. This changes are required to follow to internal policy changes or JPJ mandatory changes in the process of obtaining a Driving License. The Course fees shown are inclusive of GST / SST where applicable and must be paid upfront in order to take on a driving course, training and test. SDC reserves the rights to change the fees structure without prior notice and this changes do not represent a formal quotation for future date.
    • A candidate is allowed to make his/her payment progressively / instalment. SDC will keep the candidate / students informed on the mode of payment and have the right to vary the fee / payment mode as and when necessary. The amount payable may vary at anytime due to statutory requirement changes such as sales and service tax.
  2. A minimum payment of the fees upon enrolment is required depending on the packages / modules upon enrolment. Candidates must obtain official receipts for all payments. Payments should only be made directly to SDC office(s) by cash or cheque or credit card or online payment. (Please ensure candidate / student obtain and retain candidate / student receipt for candidate / student own records).   3. SDC not responsible if payment is paid via unauthorised payment mode or to our trainer / instructor.
  4. SDC has Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) payment option, is a of instalment payment plan for customer intend to sign up to obtain service for Driving / Riding license package at SDC.

The total package cost will divides your purchase into multiple equal payments, with the first due at checkout using the selected Bank’s credit card. The remaining payments are billed to your credit card until your purchase is paid in full. These plans can come with zero interest but not limited to any fees (if incur such as service fee, taxation or any cost incur by bank / service provider).

 

Underlying Terms and conditions for Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) payment option as below :

 

  1. Banks or service provider (Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) installment plan) has the right to conduct a credit checks.
  2. Customer who wants to do Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) installment plan is not applicable for JPJ Basic package.
  3. Customer who wants to do Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) installment plan is not eligible for any discounts / promotions / alteration of package content / rebates
  4. Minimum transaction amount of RM1000.00.

    SDC is committed to protecting your personal data. Please be informed that your personal data may be disclosed, disseminated and/or transferred to companies within the SDC Group of companies (including the holding company, subsidiaries, associated, related and affiliated companies as well as their subsidiaries, associated and affiliated companies, both local and international), whether present or future (collectively, “the Group”) or to any third party organizations or persons for the purpose of fulfilling our obligations to you in respect of the Purposes and all such other purposes that are related to the purposes and also in providing integrated services, maintaining and storing records.
  6. Customer required to pay full package price for each individual driving / riding package intend to sign up.
  7. Refund policy
    1. Customer / Card holder must adhere our general refund policy as in our terms and conditions appears in our website sdc.com.my
    2. Customer / Card holder who made payment via Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) will be charge an ammount additionally as processing fee. The processing fee will be SDC discretion and will change from time to time. SDC may change the fee without any
  8. The service provider for Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) is Pine Payment Solutions SDN. BHD and credict facility are supported by AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad.
  9. Customer / Card holder must satisfy the SDC’s terms and conditions for purchase of good and/or services as appears in our website sdc.com.my
  10. The credit card accounts are in good standing, not in default, over limit or in breach of any terms and conditions in the Card Agreement of the bank.
  11. Up on successful need to follow up with banks if need further clarification on repayments re-arrangements / amendments / or full settlements
  12. Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) payment plan is from 6 to 24 months that we offer to our customers as one of their payment options.
  13. No, there are no other processing or additional fees for Easy Payment Plan unless banks, service providers or any governmental fees applied
  14. Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) instalment plan is only applicable for credit cards.
  15. While the amount of monthly instalments is computed based on the purchase amount divided evenly by the chosen instalment period, in the event of any balance, that balance shall be added onto the first or last instalment amount as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.
  16. Upon the Bank’s approval of the Customer’s / Card holder’s request to purchase under Learn Now Pay Later (LNPL) payment plan and selected instalment plan and the cardholder signing the charge slip/debit authorisation form, the full purchase amount shall be deducted from the customer’s / cardholder’s available credit limit. The customer’s / cardholder’s credit limit shall be gradually restores with each EPP instalment paid by the cardholder to the Bank by an amount equivalent to each such instalment.
  17. The Bank / credit provider has the absolute right to decline or reject any request by the customer / cardholder to make his purchase under EPP without giving any reasons thereof.
  18. SDC not be liable or responsible in any manner for any loss or damage howsoever arising from the Bank exercising its right under any provision in the terms and conditions, even if the Bank or SDC had been advised of the possibilities of such damages in advance.
  19. SDC shall not be liable for any inadequate, defective, or damaged goods or services or other disputes between the cardholders and the Bank relating to any purchase of goods and/or services from SDC.

 

 

  1. Additional cost

SDC may require the candidate / student to pay additional cost  incurred for retest, extra hours driving training and  License processing fee. The payment amount and terms may vary as per package candidate / student signed up.

 

  1. Refund policy

 

  • Please note any deposit or any subsequent fees paid are not refundable in the event candidate / student decide to cancel the training / course / test. However in special circumstances or in  the event of unavoidable situation such as medical, transfer due to education or work is allowed for a refund. SDC has the right to deduct minimum registration/ service fee, Tax incurred and all course charges, test Fee, Course fee, Training fee, Training kits, products cost. The costs mentioned herein may vary from time to time.
  • Upon refund request, candidate /student is required to fill up refund request form and submit all valid documents to support refund and its reason.
  • SDC may take minimum 20 working days to make refund payment.
  • The refund is subject to the discretion and approval of SDC.
  • Refund if any, will be paid to the candidate / student name/account only and not to any third party including immediate family members or parents.SDC will decide to refund if the candidate / student gives written consent for such refund to immediate family members.
  • Candidate/student refund request will be invalid if :-
    1. There is a delayed the in learning length due to any criminal action taken against student / candidates.
    2. If the candidate / student blacklisted by JPJ and Police records.
    3. War or curfew
    4. National emergency / national disaster / pandemic

 

 

  1. Disclaimer
    • SDC has the right to discontinue the course for any candidate for any misbehaviours or misconduct. At this juncture SDC has the right not to refund any fees paid.
    • Packages or modules registered by the candidate / students in SDC is non Transferable.

    2. Kindly obtain detail of packages / modules at our websites or our customer service personnel before the preferable package is selected.
    3. SDC reserves the right to add, change, alter or dismiss package / module at any time without prior notice any steps established in order to obtain a Driving License, this changes might respond to internal policy changes or JPJ mandatory changes in the process of obtaining a Driving License. Accordingly, SDC packages / modules fees will change. This will be done without prior notice and do not represent a formal quotation for future date.

Premium and JPJ basic package are only for fresh candidate who are not in possess of any kind driving / riding license in Malaysia.

Below are details for each items as above in the table:

  • Tax consist of Sales and Service Tax 6% accordance to Malaysia Customs Department requirements. The tax percentage can be fluctuated according to statutory requirements.

 

  • Eligibility is accordance to Nationality.

 

  • Payment method eligible SDC are only in forms of cash, cheque, credit card or online payments at our website sdc.com.my or over the counter in our official premise only.  Registration over the counter required customer/ candidate to walk in to our office to enrol and make payment. Online registration allows customer/candidate to register via our online portal / website www.sdc.com.my at their convenient.

 

  • Refunds at our company’s discretion. Please refer to our terms and conditions at our website.

 

  • Payment terms refer to instalment, easy payments and part payments. Instalment or part payments refer to number of split of full package payments. Easy payment as know as Pay Later Learn Now (PNPL) payment option. Customer / Candidate can option for longer periodic payments with zero interest cost. Please refer our terms on PNPL for further details.

 

 

  • The duration defines a minimum period to complete entire module from date attended 1st module up to completing final module as required each package. The duration may extend subject to availability of candidates’ and prompt attendance according to appointment given.

 

  • L License @ LDL license is valid Learners Driving License required to each student to obtain before starting practical training and test. Self-process may required for candidates to obtain L License at JPJ by their own cost. 6 Month by us define special services we provide to process the L license without any fee.

  • Each Student sitting for theory class/course/lecture will be given e-book for reference purpose. The e-book can be downloaded from portal access will be given later. SDC still provide printed book for a purchase at our counter. The legibility criteria for free books are as below:

    2. Affordable Package: Free E-Books only
  • Premium Package: Free E-Books only

  • Theory test kit is sample questions to prep candidate before they sit for theory exam. The kit can be purchased at our counter. We will provide test kit for selected packages for free as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Not eligible.
    2. Affordable Package: Yes, eligible.
  • Premium Package: Yes, eligible.
  1. Preferred (express) Package: Yes, eligible.

 

  • Each candidate required to sit for theory exams. The passing mark will be above 42/50. Those failed are required to re sit for another attempt and the process need to repeat until pass. Each attempt with required to pay a re-booking fee unless its define in the package eligibility such as free 3 attempts for Preferred package.

 

  • The schedule for practical training will be arrange as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Schedule will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday Only.
    2. Affordable Package: Schedule will be open from Monday to Friday Only (weekdays).
    3. Premium Package: Schedule will be open every day (weekend and weekdays).
    4. Preferred (express) Package: Schedule will be open every day (weekend and weekdays).

We may close the training circuit / appointment on circumstances such as practical test days, weather conditions, safety reason, renovation and maintenance work or any situation required us to close to circuit beyond our control.

 

  • Weekly schedule define maximum appointment hours can be book a week. Each class consist of 2 hours block. The arrangements according to the packages as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Maximum 1 class per week.
    2. Affordable Package: Maximum 2 class per week.
  • Premium Package: Maximum 2 class per week.
  1. Preferred (express) Package: Unlimited class per week.

 

  • WhatsApp is one of communication channel we use to update on their statuses / send notifications to candidates. Candidates entitled to received WhatsApp notification according to package registered for as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Not eligible.
    2. Affordable Package: Yes, eligible.
  • Premium Package: Yes, eligible.

  • KPP1 is Theory class, KPP2 is circuit driving module and KPP3 is Road Driving Module. Each candidate required to under got minimum hours to complete the module together with test. Selected package will be given additional free extra hours as below
    1. JPJ Basic Package: KPP1 : 5.5 Hours, KPP2: 6 Hours, KPP3: 10 hrs
    2. Affordable Package: 5.5 Hours, KPP2: 6 Hours, KPP3: 10 hrs + 2 Hrs (free extra hours)
  • Premium Package: 5.5 Hours, KPP2: 6 Hours, KPP3: 10 hrs + 2 Hrs (free extra hours)

  • QTI: Qualifying Test conducted by Institute: Is a pretest required each candidate to undergo and pass the test. Those failed are required to re sit for another attempt and the process need to repeat until pass. Each attempt with required to pay a re-booking fee unless it define in the package eligibility as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Payment required for each Attempt
    2. Affordable Package: Payment required for each Attempt
  • Premium Package: Free Two attempts and Payment required for 3rd attempts onwards.
  1. Preferred (express) Package: Unlimited free attempts until pass.

 

  • JPJ test is practical test conducted by JPJ to qualify candidate to drive on road legally. The test consists of 2 parts: Part 2: In Circuit Driving test & Part 3: on public road driving test. Candidate must pass both parts to eligible to obtain driving license.  Candidates who failed both parts or one part are required to re sit for the test. Retest attempts required candidates to pay and book for booking of test slots. Each package as own rebate on retest payment as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Payment required for each Attempt
    2. Affordable Package: Payment required for each Attempt
  • Premium Package: Free Three attempts and Payment required for 4th attempts onwards.

  • We provides web portal to make customer / candidates has interactions with us easier and less complicated. Customer/ candidate can enrol, make payment, book appointment, know your status and many more. The access to the portal will be given as below:

  • Premium Package: Eligible

  • P License @ PDL license is valid Probationary Driving License required to each student to obtain to drive on road legally. The P license will be processed after candidate completed all modules and passed all parts in JPJ Test. We will absorb the processing fee as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Need Payment
    2. Affordable Package: Need Payment
  • Premium Package: Need Payment
  1. Preferred (express) Package: Free of charge.

 

  • SDC are always give priority to assist our customer/candidates who needed via various channels available. We are contactable via live chat, WhatsApp chat , email or by a phone call. These are all our general communication channel available if you need any further assist. However we would like introduce a relationship manager for each of you who registered preferred package. Relationship manager will be our personnel to assist your further for quicker action from our side.

 

 

  • Candidates are allowed to upgrade their package in ascending order only. The lowest package available is JPJ basic package and highest package available is Preferred package. Candidates must upgrade certain packages before initiating certain modules. Its is best to seek advise our personnel and do a formal request accordingly.

 

  • We always concern in giving a quality training to emphasize candidate obtain comprehensive module and be a safest driver. To support the move, we has included additional 2 hours extra training in  the package to ensure candidate able to complete all modules and be prepared for the test. The eligibility for free 2 hours extra class for Class D/DA (fresh Package) as below:
    1. JPJ Basic Package: Not eligible
    2. Affordable Package: Eligible

 The underlying terms for customer/candidate intend to sign up vocational license packages:

 

The GDL packages available in SDC is GDL Class D class for BTM Light Motorcar drivers (Small trucks, heavy vans with no load exceeding 3500kg) and

The PSV package available at SDC is PSV Class D for taxi drivers / Luxury Taxis / Rental cars / E-Hailing

 

The process of obtaining a vocational  License : 

Stage 1 – Registration

Candidates are required to submit all required documents such as a completed medical form (JPJL8A), medical examination payment receipt (Original), copy of MyKad, and Driving license (front & back view). All documents must be sent 10 days before the theory course. Candidates who are medically unfit to register will be rejected for registration. The course schedule will be provided after payment is received.

Please pay attention

The Medical Examination must be carried out by the candidate at his own expense (the JPJL8A form must be completed completely by a registered medical doctor).

 

Stage 2 – GDL course / PSV Course

Candidates are required to attend the 7 Hour lecture for the GDL course at 8.00 am at our premises. (The course starts from 9 am till 4 pm ) and 6 Hour lecture for the PSV course at 8.00 am at our premises. (The course starts from 9 am till 3 pm. Candidates are required to enter our registration office with their original Mykad, and driving license and must wear a collared T-shirt / collared shirt, long pants, and shoes. Late candidates for the course may require to reschedule for another slot on a different day.

If the candidate does not attend the course after booking the course date, registration is automatically canceled and payment is canceled, and need to pay again for the new course date booking. No refund after payment.

 

Stage 3 – GDL/PSV license

The GDL/PSV license (Class D) can be processed after completing the theory course only. Candidates can pick up complete documents after 3 days from the Course date. The license can only be processed at any JPJ counter by the candidate himself with the documents we will provide. However, candidates need to bring: A photograph with a white background, a Course attendance certificate (SDC provides), and the JPJLA form required.

 

  1. Full payment is required prior to registration.
  2. No refund after payment.
  3. Candidates must have a CDL (Class D) car license for a minimum of 1 year. (The Probation Driving License ( P License ) is not valid for Vocational License registration (P License).
  4. Class D CDL license holders are eligible to register for a GDL/PSV D vocational license.
  5. Candidates must be free from any JPJ or PDRM blacklist. The entire module can be stopped if the candidate is blacklisted during the licensing process. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that there are no restrictions before and after registering. If the candidate is found to be blacklisted then the registration is automatically canceled and Repayment is required to set a new course date. No refund after payment.
  6. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
  7. If the candidate wants to register for GDL and PSV License, then it is necessary to make two registrations according to class and two sets of documents & forms (original).
  1. The whole process takes about a week. (Subject to change as it refers to the instructor and candidate availability.

  3. By submitting a document or making a payment or registering with us, you agree to our terms and conditions.

  1. Conduct
    1. Candidate are not allowed to smoke, drink or eat during lessons.
    2. Candidates are not allowed to use mobile device or any other electronic devices during lessons/ test.
    3. Candidates are not allowed to record the driving test or lessons.
    4. Candidate are required to be punctual for classes, lessons as the SDC is obliged to teach only at times specified.

 

  1. Dress code
    1. During the session of course, practical training and test, candidate is required to be in a proper dress code as below:
      • A male candidate is only allowed to wear :
        1. Short / long sleeve and collared Shirt
        2. National Dresses
        3. Long pants
        4. Fully covered shoes.
      • A female candidate is only allowed to wear :
        1. Long pants & Collared T-Shirts
        2. National Dresses
        3. Fully covered shoes.

 

SDC has the rights to refuse and not to allow to start any module if candidates who are inappropriately dressed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Promotions
    1. Promotions and discounts are the sole discretion of SDC. SDC reserves the right to add, change, alter or dismiss promotions at any time without prior notice. Candidate must submit promotional vouchers or Code during enrolment only. The discount / promotion value is inclusive of Tax computations. The discount will be added at the final payment only.

 

  1. Health
    1. By registering an account at SDC candidate / student acknowledge the risk involved inside and outside the SDC premises. Candidate shall perceive a hazard during a class, test or any other moment attending a class, the candidate must inform the relevant instructor/ SDC employee at the earliest opportunity. The candidate must rely by his or her own personal accident insurance policy or relevant medical assistance. The candidate / students acknowledges no liability will be assumed by SDC, employees, instructors or associates for injuries caused during the driving lessons inside or outside SDC facilities. The candidate / student acknowledges there is a risk associated to the usage of motor vehicles, be a car, motorbike or lorry, for which SDC cannot held responsibility. The candidate / student shall refrain from registering or applying for a License Driving Course if his /her health condition prevent him/her from undertaking the complete Driving Course. SDC or its employees, instructors or associates will be not be held responsible for any misinformation or lack of it by the candidate / student at the time of registering that resulted in the candidate / students injury or death. Not disclosing a health condition will mean any type of liability or coverage will not be assumed by SDC. Is the sole responsibility of the candidates / students  to take care of its own health and physical integrity, during a Driving lesson inside or outside SDC premises.

 

  1. Personal Data Protection

“In line with the provisions of PDPA 2010, rest assured that SDC is seriously committed to protect the candidates/student’s data or personal information that was provided to SDC. SDC will ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure that the candidates/student’s personal data or information which is provided to SDC are protected, accurately reflected and safeguarded in SDC’s system.    

The accuracy of the said personal data/information depends on the information provided by the candidates/students to SDC. Kindly update SDC if there are any changes to the said personal data/information”

This information however can be accessed by SDC sibling companies SDC Holdings Sdn. Bhd. , Sentral Driving Centre Sdn. Bhd.  and Malaysian Defensive Driving and Riding centre Sdn. Bhd  for the purposes of verification, avoiding duplicates and/or internal Marketing by any of the Academies.

 

  1. Free Shuttle service
  • Pick up services is only available to candidates signed up for selected packages only. SDC has the right to charge if candidates requires pick up services beyond its pick points / time offered at any price determined by SDC. Pick up and send off for candidates are only for car driving sessions (practical training). No pick up or send off services for candidates attending theory courses. ie: Theory test or Practical test. No pick up or send off services for motorbike practical training . Pick up and send off only offered at selected pick up points (this is subject to changes and candidate / student may refer at our website for  pick up locations). The candidate / student acknowledges no liability will be assumed by SDC, employees, instructors or associates for injuries caused before, during and after the pickup sessions.  Candidate is required to wait at the pickup points at least 45 minutes before schedules time of training. Training classes will be cancelled automatically for late or absence of candidates and a late fee will  be charged for each hour. SDC is not responsible for delay on pick up services owing to unusual traffic jam, rain or accidents. SDC has the right to cancel pick up services owing to unavoidable circumstances.

 

  1. Group registration

Corporate clients such us companies can register their employee(s) for SDC packages. The payment can be made by invoicing system, however all payment must be fully settled as terms mentioned in the invoice. By accepting the offer and invoice, the cooperate  client  accepts all the SDC terms and conditions herein.

 

Appointment cancellations by candidate

  • Cancellations of appointment for courses, practical training or any relevant appointments:
    • Received up to 1 business days prior to class will not be charged the Cancellation fee. Cancellations within 1 Business Day prior to appointments, and no-shows, are subject to Cancellation fees .
  • Cancellations of appointment for Test.
    • Received up to 8 business days prior to test will not be charged the Re-booking fee. Cancellations within 7 business days prior to appointments, and no-shows, are subject to payment for the full amount of the cost of test with future replacement and Re-Booking fee(s)
  • Cancelation / rebooking fees are subject to changes from time to time.

 

 

Cancellation of course/ Trainings/ test by SDC

  • SDC reserves the right to cancel or change a appointment of course/ Trainings/ test at any time, including but not limited to, lack of participation, classroom, and equipment or trainer availability or any other reasons beyond SDC control. Notification will be provided within 2 hours of the training or test, whenever possible. Candidates will be given replacement of the appointment within next available schedule and candidates will not be charged for the replacement. SDC is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled class, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations. The customer or candidate’s sole remedy shall be the refund of prepaid course fees.

 

 

  1. Legal requirement ( summons)

All JPJ /PDRM summonses must be settled before registering. It is the candidate’s responsibility to check if there are ay summonses issued against them

 

  1. Complaint

All complaints will be handled by our SDC team in a professional and timely manner

 

  1. Updates to this T&C
    SDC reserve the right to amend, change, modify, update or replace any of these terms and conditions, whenever deems fit and based on the circumstances at the material time.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing the content of www.sdc.com.my (“the Website”) the person agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out above and herein.  If the person object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement the person should not use any of the products or services on the Website and leave immediately.

The person agree that shall not use the Website for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. The person agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the Website. SDC’s website reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and the person use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. SDC advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. SDC’s website has complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this website without warning or liability arising from such action.

 

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

SDC’s website will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to the person use of the Website. Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of SDC’s website, its employees or agents.

 

COPYRIGHT 

All intellectual property of SDC’s website such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of SDC’s website.

 

By using the Website the person agree to respect the intellectual property rights of SDC’s website   and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

 

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

 

SUPPORT

SDC aim to provide continuous high quality service. If the person experience any problems with the service the person should, in the first instance, refer to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section of the website. If the person cannot resolve the problem with FAQ then the person should contact us. Periodically SDC may suspend services for a short while for maintenance and repair work. 

 

UNLIMITED USE POLICY

SDC’s website   offers an unlimited use policy by maintaining large ratios of bandwidth per client. However, where a client is found to be using server resources to such an extent that they may jeopardise server performance for other clients, then at the discretion of SDC’s website  , SDC reserve the right to impose the High Resource User Policy for the consideration of all SDC’s website   clients.

 

High Use Policy

Resources are defined as bandwidth, processor utilisation and disk space. SDC’s website   may implement the following policy in its sole discretion. Abnormally high usage of resources using this service may result in a suspension of services. This policy will only be adopted in the case of extreme circumstances and intended to prevent misuse of the service. In this case clients may be offered an option whereby SDC’s website   continues supplying services under a reduced usage criteria specified by us. Failure to comply thereafter may result in the service being terminated.

 

 

PAYMENT  & REFUND POLICY

All Payment Terms as per Terms and condition above. SDC’s website is one of our payment receiving platform where a credit card number on file is declined SDC’s website   will immediately suspend the facility to use its server or purchase service on-line until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. SDC reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding payment is cleared. Any non-payment of a recurring invoice may be subject to administration charge. the person is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time the client cancels the agreement in writing. A valid debit/credit card and e-mail address must be registered to the person account at all times. Failure to do so may result in suspension of the person account.

All payment is in Malaysian Ringgit.

 

PERSONAL DETAILS

Whilst the person e-mail is primarily used for billing purposes, SDC’s website   reserves the right to e-mail the person information regarding enhancements to our services. the person can unsubscribe form marketing communications from any e-mail communication or from the SDC’s website 

SDC will not provide any of the person personal information to other companies or individuals the person permission. However, SDC may need to provide the person name and delivery address to third parties that SDC’s website  may use for purposes of delivering specific services to the person. (e.g. client support)
